Dear Chief Igbinedion,

Appointment as Patron of P.A.R.C.

We are much impressed by the widely covered activities you organised in memory of Late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. birthday recently. It is highly commendable that inspite of your very tight schedule, you could still find time and committment in honour of the revered world-renowned apostle of non violence and reconciliation.

For this conscientious singular contribution to global peace, it is my pleasure to inform you that the Continental Executive Committee of the Council has resolved to appoint you as one of our patrons in the continent. We very much believe that your leadership direction in the movement could be a stepping stone to acquiring the much coveted Nobel Peace Prize. Late Martin Luther King Jr. himself was a member ofIFOR and won the prize through its platform in 1964.

Please find attached detailed information on the Council and IFOR for your kind attention. Executive members of the Council are disposed to pay a courtesy call on you at your earliest convenience in Lagos for further consultation on our future goals, plans and aspirations.

We will equally appreciate a prompt response from you and seize this opportunity to wish you a peaceful and violence free year.

Yours in global peace
PA.R.C. Signed: Eben Ade. Adenekan D.Litt. (Secretary-General).
