GOODWILL MESSAGE TO HIS EXCELLENCY, SIR, (DR.) CHIEF GABRIEL OSAWARU IGBINEDION, CON, THE ESAMA OF BENIN ON HIS 76TH BIRTHDAY

I wish to convey to the Esama the felicitation of the people and Government of Edo State and my personal best wishes on the occasion of his 76th birthday. We give glory and thanks to God for His grace and mercy on an illustrious son of Edo State and Nigeria.

 

You remain a living legend celebrated at home and abroad for your towering accomplishments in business, philanthropy, politics and public service. Worthy of recall are your pioneering contributions to the country’s economic development, especially in the fields of education, aviation and broadcasting.

We are all immensely proud of the prominent role that you continue to play in the polity, as an elder-statesman.

It is impossible to document individual contribution to the development of Edo State without acknowledging your frontline role in many respects- economy, politics, sports and entertainment.

At 76, you look healthy, youthful and well=preserved, evidence of the Lord’s grace.

We pray that God will continue to honour and prosper you, grant you the best of health and give you long life.
