I heartily rejoice with you today for two reasons: you are by the grace of God 74 and by Divine permission your promises to single-handedly build a befitting edifice to the Glory of God through the medium of the Catholic Church has been redeemed. I am very glad to be associated with your success. Being the first rector of the Church I patiently and humbly participated in the conception, gestation and safe delivery of your noble achievement. The inspiration to embark upon such a spiritual project could not have been revealed to you by flesh and blood and the strength to bring the inspiration to fullness of time could not have come from the very fact that you are well-off and mighty because David in spite of his exploits and being the Lion of Judah was not allowed to build a house for God. The enigmatic question is: why should God allow Sir Chief Dr. G.O. IGBINEDION, CON, Esama of Benin Kingdom to build Him a house undermining the malcontent remarks some bird-eyed humans have made about him? God wants it and nothing they can do about it.

May the Lord bestow on you and your household the blessings Yahweh showered on the household of Obed-Edom who risked keeping the Ark in his house (2 Sam.6:11)
