GABRIEL OSAWARU IGBINEDION (Sir, Dr., Chief) was born on the 11th September 1934 at Okada, Ovia North-East Local Government Area.
Over the years Chief Igbinedion has secured the respect of a number of his fellow traditional Chiefs who have described him in various terms including the accolade; the "Esama of Africa" and "Esama of the Universe".
